Merrimack is located in Hillsborough County and is home to approximately 26,700 people. This picturesque community is a one-hour commute from Boston, about an hour to the Seacoast, and a one-hour drive to the White Mountains, placing this thriving community in the heart of it all. It is a community rich in history. For example, Matthew Thornton, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, called Merrimack home. Originally part of the 1673 Dunstable grant and in 1746 Governor Benning Wentworth signed a charter establishing the town.
